Snowdrop Beauty

Well we have had a couple of beautiful spring days and it really helps lift the spirit. As promised here are some photos of the beautiful snowdrops that have start to peep through the grass down in the orchard. They have such a delicate beauty and their scent is faint but it is full of the promise that spring is really on it's way at last. I couldn't resist bringing some inside, and they looked lovely in this little white jug.

  1. I love snowdrops, they are so pretty and delicate, let's hope spring won't be too far away. They look lovely in your white jar too.
I have little blue Iris's in the garden, I may go and bring some indoors, where I can see and enjoy them more :0)

  2. Your are so lucky to have snowdrops already. It will be weeks and weeks yet for us here in Upstate New York....very very cold, and lots of snow. But your photos make me happy! Thanks.

  6. what pretty images :o) I have a few in my garden but they're not very established yet so are only appearing in very small clumps of 3's at the moment. Hopefully in a few years they will spread far & wide across my garden.
