The Wicked Faerie Queen Halloween Home Tour

The Wicked Faerie Queen has issued forth an invite for us all to show our homes over this Halloween season. Afraid apart from getting home two huge pumpkins and putting up a tree my decorations are not yet up. I've spent today fastening anything that moves in the garden before the approaching storm the weathermen keep warning us about hits. Still if the weather is bad the silver cloud will be I'll get to stay inside this weekend and finish decorating so some photos should follow. Till then I've been searching the net for some alternative colour ideas for Halloween in case anyone fancies a change from the traditional black and orange. I swear one year I'll be organized in time and colour co ordinated. I have a hankering for a midnight blue colour scheme. I so love the first picture, it's got my favourite blue and white china and also my favourite flowers, orange chrysanthemums which bring back so many happy memories.  This year though it will be my normal thrown together look, still I can dream..............

  1. Oh I do like these alternate color schemes. I am seeing a lot of black and white this Halloween.
I love the tours where they show you the decorated doorway and mantel but I am NEVER going to be that organized.
Thank you for visiting and your kind comment. I have a few more gargoyles around the house.

Well....I need to ponder that a bit....as I am a HUGE fan of anything and everything black and orange. ;o) But I must say.....your palettes are whimsically engaging and refreshing!! I am visiting from the Wicked Faerie Queen....as she knows that I love all things Halloween!!! So glad to have made your acquaintance!! Hope you have weathered that storm safely....
