Five Sentence Fiction - Joy in the Rain


 
It was definitely looking black over Bill’s mothers, in the Pluviophiles heart, hope started to be born.

The sun had been relentless in it's torment, hot sticky air was pulling at her skin, drawing out her life energy. 

Slowly it started, the soft gentle drizzle that gently soaked you through.

Faster, faster it came down like a dam had burst overhead, she danced in joyous bliss, her heart soaking up all nature’s moist treasure.

Rain the life blood of the Pluviophile had returned.

"It's black over Bill's mothers" is a local saying that means 
dark clouds are gathering and rain is imminent.
