A Beautiful Day to Remember
Watched by over two billion people and with an estimated 1 million people in London for the day. The marriage of HRH the Prince William of Wales to Catherine Middleton on the 29th of April 2009, was a beautiful day to remember. Catherine's wedding dress was stunning, quite simple but very elegant, reminiscent of the wedding dresses of the early 1900's. The trees place down the aisle of Westminster Abbey were a magical touch, echoing the tall architecture of the abbey they made the aisle like walking through a fairytale woodland glade, they are to be replanted at Highgrove house, the home of the HRH Prince of Wales.
The day kept dry and fine as the crowd in London made it's way down to Buckingham Palace to see the couple on the balcony after the wedding service. At 1.30 pm there was a fly past by the Battle of Britain flight followed by the modern fighter jets.
